BB Cream, CC Cream, what’s the big friggen DIFFERENCE?

ImageSo I’m sure we’ve all heard about the new FAD. Everyone’s got one from Dior to Garnier and they’re blowing up your Maybelline commercials. It started with BB, and now there is a CC. I know what you’re thinking, really we going through the whole alphabet now? Maybe not but here’s the difference.  So being in a beauty store, a huge change of pace began a few years ago and usually what customers want, customers get. People were tired of “cakey” foundation, want something they can wear in the summer…so hence….

BB CREAM or a beauty balm was introduced to the US, thanks Asia as an all in one facial product, it’s got a primer built in with a powder, sun protection, serum and supposed to be a go to product for anyone on the go. They usually “mattify”, control oil and have antiaging qualities in them.  There’s a wide variety. Tip & Trick – not enough coverage for me, but I use the Stila Illuminating one as a Primer. Hello Glowing Skin!

CC cream stands for “color control” cream. CC cream can be used the same way as a BB cream, as an all in one product. The difference instead of mattifying, you get radiance. Another major point of difference is (especially one in photo), that it helps you to BLT your skin, brighten, lighten and tighten. These 3 things are great for anyone trying to even out your skintone or lighten pigmentation spots.

All in all they are great for the beach, great for someone not looking for a lot of coverage and there are plenty to choose from.

My best are CC CREAM- CLINIQUE, PETER THOMAS ROTH.  BB CREAM – STILA HAS 3 THAT ARE FABULOUS AND I’D PROBABLY SAY SMASHBOX.

GREAT PRIMERS, they fill in everything prior to your foundation!
